After having discovered one of Europe’s hidden warehouse gems in the heart of Bucharest, last year, them now returns with a full year schedule plan for the space. “We tested the grounds with 2 pilot events, which were successful, so we decided to invest into a diversified programming covering the whole year. It took us a couple of months to put together and it’s obviously still daily, and still lots of work, but we’re getting there,” said Andrei Hancu, starter of the project.
The collective states that a lot of big plans are upcoming this year, with a number of residencies in the works in key places like Ibiza, Bucharest or Barcelona. The upcoming season promotes a more diverse musical choice, with a number of household names joined by newer additions along with the usual residents plus up and coming talents. Other names planned for 2024 include Sepp, Nu Zau, Silvie Loto, Blackchild, Idriss, Barac, Cezar, Sublee, Enzo Siragusa, SIT, Praslea and many more.
Following dates will be released with episodes planned in May, June, September, October, and November. Expect big things from them in the coming months, but for now their upcoming event at Them Warehouse has been announced, kicking off the new season on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 running from 22:00 to 07:00 with an intriguing selection of artists.
Returning to the iconic Griro secret warehouse nestled in the heart of Bucharest, Them promises to deliver yet another unforgettable experience. This venue has become synonymous with cutting-edge parties that push boundaries and create memorable environments for electronic music.
Prepare to be immersed in a sonic journey curated by a unique lineup of talented DJs, each with their strain of club music. Leading the charge is COSTIN RP, a revered Romanian selector and producer whose deep-rooted connections within the scene have earned him widespread acclaim. With strong support from RPR and the extended collective, COSTIN RP is well equipped to bring his significant sound to his hometown crowd.
Joining him is another Romanian luminary and Sunwaves regular, VIZAN. Known for his infectious grooves and impeccable track selection, VIZAN is guaranteed to keep the party going well into the night.
The first international guest comes from powerhouse Voigtmann. A familiar face that has become known for his powerful, progressive-sounding sets that have earned him a reputation as one of the most dynamic DJs on the circuit. From mesmerising melodies to irresistible rhythms, Voigtmann is sure to fit the vibe in this massive warehouse space.
Finishing the bill is an unexpected twist with the inclusion of wAFF, the UK DJ known for his infectious charm and eclectic style. While wAFF may typically be found in more commercial circles, his ability to seamlessly blend genres and captivate audiences makes him an intriguing addition to this diverse lineup.
After the stories of last year’s warehouse with Magda, Herodot and Nu Zau, the next episode keenly awaits inside the industrial settings of the old trainyard warehouse. Prepare to immerse yourself in a whirlwind of sound, light, and smoke.
