The Loft sets out their raving plans for the month of October

The Loft in Manchester may be small but believe us when we say it is perfectly formed. This raving bolt hole has quickly established itself as the go to for intimate clubbing with nothing more than top quality music and bookings at its very core. Having just celebrated its first birthday back in July they continue to push in new and exciting musical directions.

As always, The Loft is ever expanding their reach into different genres and their party listings for October is a perfect example of that. With one weekend already down and in the bag the Funktion One speakers are still rattling from the workout they were given by Manchester collective 01366 and guests Matrixxman, Future.666, Lyza for her Manchester debut and 01366’s Joey Stella and Twelve Seven.

Shifting to Friday, October 14th and they have already sold out their all-night date with none other than Sidney Charles. A master at all things house music, from more techy rollers to soulful bangers this promises to be one for the books. The next night and PALOMA return for more madness and they will be bringing in Paranoid London for a headline slot that, as always, will tear into the more dirtier ends of the synth spectrum taking in acid house, electro and techno. Support will come from local heads Natalia, EJ & Rosa.

Getting into the business end of the month and The Loft will be the location for a 3-day / 3 party array that will knock your socks clean off. Launching the weekend and also launching his own party is Yant and new brand Refocus. Heading up their debut rave will be one of Berlin’s leading lights in Sedef Adasi and being part of the Ostgut and Blitz Club family she knows exactly what it takes to move a dancefloor. Support will come from local legend Aletha who is in the process of making plenty of waves of her own.

Saturday’s session will lie solely with Manchester outfit You&Me and their Halloween rave on September 29th and Josh Baker has secured the talents of several standout artists. Regular Local Dub, Outcast Torino and Paddy Lee will be joining Josh for party ith a scary amount of top tunes and even better vibes. Rounding out the weekend will be the return of Krew Love and it will feature a selection of Manchester’s finest garage selectors.
