The BPM Festival Malta has been canceled amidst rising COVID-19 cases

When The BPM Festival first announced that they would be running a weekender in Malta the flags came out as a possible return to large scale events seemed possible again. This was not to be.

As a result of a rise in COVID-19 cases in Malta event promoters have had no option but to cancel the event for 2020 and postpone until 2021. With most of the parties already being announced and scheduled to take place at Uno Village between Friday, September 11th to Sunday, September 13th the Malta edition has sadly been shelved until next year.

While there had been little surprise from online commentators that the event has been canceled as there are still travel restrictions worldwide The BPM Festival can only put this fated event down to poor timing with regards to the rise in cases. The silver lining that can be gained from this is that the event will return bigger and better in 2021.
