The BPM Festival drops the first phase of artists for their Malta edition

Having spread their wings and found a home for their far-reaching festival in Portugal (2019), Costa Rica (January 2020) and most recently Miami (March 2020) The BPM Festival will be landing in Malta between Friday, September 11th and Sunday, September 13th. The program of events may be slightly more condensed compared to previous editions but BPM are not holding back on the number of artists that they are bringing with them.

Going by the assorted artists form their first drop Fuse London will be well represented by way of Archie Hamilton, Enzo Siragusa and Seb Zito. It remains to be seen if this will translate into a label showcase but all the hallmarks are there. In a similar vein Amsterdamers Slap Funk Records who have previous for delivering a show-stopping showcase of their tough peak time grooves. Label mainstays Ingi Visions who we caught up with not long after arriving back from BPM Costa Rica will be joined by Sanja and Pascal Benjamin on the line-up.

Other names of a minimal leaning persuasion that piqued out interest came in the form of Chris Stussy, East End Dubs, Ferro, Loco Dice, Ray Mono, Sweely (live), Yaya and of course Ricardo Villalobos and Sonja Moonear. The fact that this is but only the first round of artists announced it looks like BPM Malta will be one for the books and a welcome return to the dancefloor for a number of people – artists and clubbers alike.
