With the deft defying sets and unknown gems still flickering around the frontal lobes of those who recently attended Mioritmic, Sunrise Events have a heavy schedule planned for the next few months.
It starts with an impressive joint showcase with VBX at Amsterdam venue LOFI for their flagship party at ADE 2019, with Arapu, Cap, Gescu, Herodot, Joren Edwards, Rhadoo and Spokenn (Ferro & Reiss) behind the decks and Cote on the visual
Following after, on Saturday, October 26th the Romanian minimal juggernaut will be rolling into Moscow for an event that is almost tailor-made for Sunrise. Taking place at the infamous Russian art and culture complex Mutabor in conjunction with the Volks, a special array of the imprints finest artists will perform over the course of the weekends extended session. Almost like a cut-down Sunwaves event you will be able to catch Cezar, Cancelled, Denis Korablev, Gescu, Gevorg Simonyan, Kozo, Praslea, Priku, and SIT perform in one of the most unique and quite simply special environments around.
Next up is a doubleheader from the biggest name in minimal and microhouse – Ricardo Villalobos. Both Ricardo and Sunrise are so intrinsically linked that it is hard to imagine one without the other, but regardless, you will have 2 chances to catch the Chilean talisman in action. Firstly, Ricardo will be headlining the 4th edition of Hi Fi Fi on Friday, November 8th where he will star alongside Mihigh in room A, while in room B Petre Insperescu will be joined by K!d Chriss. The following night Villalobos will be making his way to Bucharest for a special event with Kristal Club and Sunrise, no more details have been announced at this stage but to get your fix of Ricardo Romania is the place to be this November.
Between Friday, November 15th and Sunday, November 17th SNRS48 will take place in Bucharest. Again, there are little details to be found regarding this event but if you take just a fleeting glimpse of the roster that Sunrise has at its disposal then it is clear that the line-up for this party will be nothing short of unreal. The following week is the return of another cherished artist that is extremely close to Romania’s heart and he is Marco Carola. The Italian mixing machine will be headlining 2 very special stadium events, the Neopolitan will be performing at Sala Polivalenta in Cluj-Napoca on Friday, November 22nd and at Sala Polivalenta in Bucharest on Saturday, November 23rd.
Rounding out a spectacular 3-month spell Sunrise will be returning to Casino Sinaia on Saturday, December 21st for another night at the beautifully ornate Romanian casino. The line-up for this special event is yet to be announced but last year’s party included all 3 members of RPR Soundsystem as well as Dan Andrei and Cotė on visuals. Expect this year to be just as special.
