Malta’s Sunny Side Festival has, since its inception, served as one of the finest festival season openers. The heady mix of collaborators, club brands, and of course the spectacular Maltese setting, what is not to love about Sunny Side Festival. Having now been expanded from three days to five, there is even more to discover amongst the history steeped cobbled streets between 14-18 May.
As with previous editions, the club brands that are represented are responsible for providing their respective scene’s top moments. This brings with it the level of artistry that Sunny Side Festival prides itself on and the first wave of names already has ticket holders salivating. With artists such as tINI, Raresh, Fumiya Tanaka, Tomas Station and O.BEE, and Mathew Jonson already confirmed, there are even more huge names due to appear in Malta this May.
Joining the dots between house, techno, and everything in between is God level selector Ben UFO. The Hessle Audio co-founder joins a previous back to back partner in Helena Hauff as well as certified house legend Chez Damier. Providing the electro vibes will be Alexia Glensy and Anna Wall, a pair of artists that have been doing serious damage on the world circuit in 2025. More highlights come via the sumptuous grooves from Tresydos boss Mari.te, Melody, and Morgan. Being a constant source of dancefloor inspiration, these artists are well known for the uplifting vibes they bring to each anticipated performance.
As well as the full complement of artists, there are also two new dance spaces that have been added to the island adventure that is Sunny Side Festival 2026. First is Big Ron’s Records, this will act as an icebreaker on the first night where friends old and new can meet and set the tone for the week to come. The second new location will be Maria Rosa Estate, a lush vineyard where it will be possible to dance from day to night under the stars. These two new locations will join the program of the already established and much loved Uno Malta, Tortuga Beach Club, and the infamous boat parties that cruise the surrounding blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
