Sunny Side Festival announce the next wave of acts featuring in May 2025

Sunny Side Festival is back, and it’s shaping up to be even better than the last one. After the success of their debut earlier this year, the bar has been raised for the next edition, happening from 16–18 May 2025 in Malta.

The coastal spot hosts a mix of history, culture and surrounding natural beauty. Throw in world class DJs spinning extended sets with the Mediterranean as your backdrop.

After the first wave of acts was teased in October, we can now announce the second wave of artists joining in May. An extensive list of names includes Tristan Da Cunha and Brawther’s Dungeon Meat project, Lamache, and the legendary Sonja Moonear, all of whom know how to deliver unforgettable sets. Sweely’s hybrid live performance, Magda’s hypnotic sounds, and Harry McCanna’s ever-evolving style also join this hefty bill.

This wave also brings in Aline Umber, Chris Solaris, Georgia, Karl Fraunhofer, Thomas Refvik, Maxime DB, Monile, Sam Bangura, UJ/DJ, and Mike Shannon live. They’ll join the first wave of artists already announced, including Christian AB, JNJS, Enrica Falqui, Felipe Valenzuela, Matthew Johnson, Hostom aka Varhat, Bruno Schmidt, Alexia Glensy, Alex Dima, Ryan Elliott, PARAMIDA, and many more. It’s safe to say the music will be on point from start to finish.

Sunny Side Festival isn’t just about incredible music; it’s also about building a community through creative partnerships, hosting interviews and exploring the culture. Alongside the much-anticipated artist performances, brand partnerships will shape unique stages and unforgettable moments across the festival. Returning favourites like Dungeon Meat, Yoyaku, Half Baked, and Why Not? Zanzibar and ourselves will join forces again to keep the dance floors flowing.

Tickets are already available, so if you’re thinking about heading to Malta next May, secure your spot on our TROI platform.
