Ragusa’s clubbing map is about to get a new coordinate. Selva launches on 1 August 2026 inside a working masseria in the Iblean countryside, close enough to Marina di Ragusa to catch the sea air. The people behind it aren’t just throwing parties — they’re staking a claim, betting that this corner of Sicily can support the kind of serious, internationally minded programming usually reserved for the island’s better-known scenes. Expect a booking policy built on collision: local talent rubbing shoulders with names flown in from across Italy and further afield.
The setting does a lot of the talking. Selva takes its name from the wild scrubland and stone that wrap around the property, and the club leans into it rather than fighting it — the cavea, an open-air amphitheatre carved into the terrain, functions as the beating heart of the operation for as long as the weather cooperates. Once the season turns, two enclosed spaces, the ballatoio and the scuderie, keep the lights on through the colder months. Attached to the site is Flora — Pizza Natura, a terrace pizzeria with sweeping views that gives the project a life beyond the dancefloor: somewhere to land before a set, or regroup once one’s finished.
Genre-wise, nothing here is boxed in — techno sits next to house, which sits next to material that resists easy labelling, with room carved out along the way for collective takeovers and nights built around a single concept.
The debut season doesn’t play it safe. Nina Kraviz closes out a Trip afterparty, Satoshi Tomiie and Miss Kittin each bring their own slice of house history, and a Call Super b2b Isabella pairing looks like one of the summer’s genuine wildcards. An Alex Neri b2b Francesco Farfa combination, and GNMR teaming up with Venerus, fill out the calendar. Toy Tonics bring their own flavour via a Kapote b2b Davide Dev session, while Francesco Maria b2b Andrea Saba represent the domestic side of the bill.
Beyond the marquee names, four showcases stake out their own turf — MEERAQUI (Volantis, Alberto Costa), CORTOCIRCUITO (Saturn, Giulio Schilirò, Marcux), LATTE+, and MOSAICO (Paura Lausini, Domenico Niki) — alongside a SALSA PICCANTE takeover and further sets from Praxo, J.O.D, ANNA A., SexeÀplein, L.O.V crew, Pier and Lungomare Paradiso.
While the stunningly history-steeped surroundings of Selva Club Natura point to a distinct point in the distant past, the backbone of the club is well and truly built for the future. Cloaked in high-definition sound throughout, the venue benefits from a “state-of-the-art” d&b audiotechnik sound system and a lighting system worthy of the musical prowess and programming that it will feature throughout the year.
