Over the past 6 years, ABC Events has thrown some pretty special parties in and around Romania. From their long-time hook-up with Arad Open Air Festival to the clubs of Timisoara and further afield ABC has had more highlights than most. It is understandable that the boat should be significantly pushed out with their 6th birthday in mind. Having welcomed a huge cross-section of the minimal fraternity over the years illustrious guests have included Andrey Pushkarev, Priku, Cezar and Mihigh to name but a few of the names to join the ABC party.
Taking place at the decadent Vila Carol on Friday, November 22nd ABC Events have primed their thumping VOID sound system for a session that is befitting of their 6 years of minimal based activity. Taking pride of place at the top of the line-up is French micro house maestro Cabanne. His standing within the ranks of Yoyaku and of course his own Minibar label are seldom matched. The Frenchman will be closely followed by a trio of top hitting Romanians that command top billing in their own right and so Arapu, Gescu and Dubtil will be right at home at this well-respected party.
Of course, no event series would be worth shouting about if it wasn’t for its hard-working residents and ABC has its own share of in house superstars. Leading the way is Mulen Records and Roche Madame artist Herck, having been instrumental in ABC’s success he is also enjoying his own time in the sun at the moment as he has been rocking the decks for the likes of Half in Belgrade, The Lion and Lamb in London and the wickedly programmed Steppin’ Motion when they took over fabric a few months ago. He doesn’t come on his own though, for this special occasion he will be flanked by Somesan, Timirash, and Bread & Butter while Senpai stuff takes care of the visual delights. Another major part of the ABC party formula is their exclusive use of some of the best VOID stacks in Romania. With ABC Sound Machine becoming the official Romanian distributor for VOID Acoustics earlier this year but having been one of the main sources of system rentals since 2017 they have since been employing these striking systems in their events. Instantly recognizable by their bright red horns and pristine sound coverage, this event will sound incredible thanks to the Void Nexus Q and Nexus X bass enclosures as well as the insanely talented artists performing on stage.
