Founded in 2021 by four Parisian artists Brooklyn Baby, Latent & Shortcut (Makeoli & Chaac) Outdom is a platform that showcases the collectives eclectic taste in music. Ranging from House of all shades, minimal and electro there is serious influences from 90s rave culture and its core values. Blurring the line between sub-genre, the emerging French crew, have now earned a spot in the Parisian night landscape.
With a broad, yet highly informed musical palette influences range from Garrett David, Youandewan, Traumer, Man/ipulate, Alec Falconer, Adam Pits or also Huerta for the minimal part. On a deeper house/raw house sound they cite DJ Steaw and his label Rutilance as influential players. Outdom is already playing and organising events in most of the capital’s quality venues, La Rotonde Stalingrad, Le Nouveau Casino, Le Badaboum, Le Point Ephémère.
This time however, it will be their debut at the well-known venue Cabaret Sauvage and for the occasion they haven’t gone halfway with their plans as they have invited Berlin based producer and Smallhours boss Youandewan for an extended set along with Parisian rising crew Deci’Bells for 10 hours of dancing. Taking place on Friday, September 9th the event will run inside the club on this occasion from 11pm to 6am.
Not resting on their laurels, they are also planning to host a release party for their new vinyl release which is set to come out at the end of 2022 or beginning of 2023 and an event for their one year anniversary in Paris! Outdom is collaborating regularly with rising labels and crews in Paris and have worked with Aurore 404, Avalanche SoundSystem, Club Pizza, Deci’Bells, and Reach Out.
