The legend Ricardo Villalobos returns to Amnesia Ibiza to kick off this season’s summer marathon.
Pyramid returns every Sunday from June 9th to October 6th to Amnesia to bring their unique fusion of electronic music and creativity. The long running club’s epic production hosts a huge array of hypnotic lights, immersive decoration and a huge, clear sound system.
Opening the infamous Pyramid night, Ricardo will play an un expected b2b with Nina Kraviz, one of electronic music’s most famous artists. Nina’s affinity to stripped back, minimalist dance music has been expressed through a number of her own productions, as well as playing the occasional ‘minimal set’ around the world. This intriguing back-to-back is sure to bring a memorable box of tricks to the table, full of surprises and interesting selections from two artists with decades of experience between them.
Ricardo’s relationship with Ibiza has always brought an interesting fusion of artists to the island and this time is no different. Long time A:rpria:r affiliate Dan Andrei joins the bill, bringing his twisted selections to the terrace which will make for a beautiful warm up or closing after the b2b of Ricardo and Nina.
Dan Andrei’s presence in the minimal circuit has been a staple for many years, known for his impeccable and experimental productions, as well as his marathon vinyl sets, playing music across genres and from multiple decades, whilst maintaining a relatively stripped back aesthetic. Amnesia resident Mar-T finishes the bill for the terrace, whilst the inside welcomes a roster of more big room techno artists in Deborah De Luca, Katnada and Lilly Palmer B2B Alan Fitzpatrick.
Pyramid is definitely a party that will host many memorable moments across the season, with several dates pencilled in with Dorian Paic Fumiya Tanaka, Sweely, and Raresh who will play b2b with Ricardo on July 7th. A few weeks later there will be another edition of terrace madness where Maher Daniel, Sonja Moonear, and Traumer will join the action. Moving into August and the parties just get bigger and bigger at the Ricardista’s roadblock as Fuse London boss Enzo Siragusa, Priku b2b Arapu, and the return of Luciano b2b Ricardo puts the cherry on top on August 25th.
With closing parties looming, September 15th will see a collab between Ricardo and his longtime London home of fabric. For their only Amnesia date of the summer O.Bee and Tomas Station will be joined by a mystery cast, but you can be sure the yet to be announced lineup will blow your socks off. Finally, after all the madness the 2024 Ibiza season has provided it is time for the Pyramid closing party on October 6th. Being the forwarded thinking mind that he is, Ricardo will be joined out on the legendary terrace by Italian Francesco Farfa, Franco Cinelli, Nina Kraviz, and the man himself will be pairing off against long time sparring partner Luciano. This duo will be charged with shepherding the last moments of the season into the history books, just make sure you are there to witness it all go down.
