Point76 reveal details for their third immersive edition of Passage Festival

Following the successful formula from their previous two editions, the Swiss crew based in Fribourg from Point76 keeps the tradition alive for the third consecutive year. While this year’s edition will have the same format in terms of venues and overall organisation, some fresh new names will turn the decks behind the booth and exciting immersive experiences will entertain the attendees in premiere for this event. More details about last year’s edition can be read here.

With the sole exception of Swiss rising star Wyatt, part of Point76’s bookers team, and a regular at the festival with his groovy sets influenced by both the Chicago and Bucharest sounds, the crew managed to curate a different lineup for each edition so far. If in the previous editions, we saw names like Carl H, Junki Inoue, Le Loup, Vera, DJ Masda, Doudou MD, Vlada, and many others, this time we are expecting a completely renewed selection of artists, as the event aims to reinvent itself and deliver a different sound experience with each edition.

Moreover, this edition will delight visitors with its two Creative Spaces, where they will have the opportunity to discover local artists and craftspeople. These spaces will take the form of an exhibition area curated by Clarisse, where we might expect to find an installation of clothes, ceramics, drawings, prints, or even paintings; and a second space designed by Studio Mezon, who will be taking the entire interior area, with tattoos, piercings, immersive experiences, projections, nail art, and other beauty services and crafts.

The weekend-long festival will start early, with gates opening on Saturday, 25th of May at 13:00 at Bluefactory, and will keep going until 23:00 at this venue. Zurich-based DJ and producer Belia Winnewisser will open the festival, taking the listeners on a live experimental journey, filled with her industrial dark sound. Anthea, one of London’s leading female DJs who has recently relocated to Berlin, will sprinkle her colorful magic on stage as well as Spanish DJ and producer S.Moreira, who will perform live his signature blend of techno, dub, broken beats, and jazz.

The night will continue two streets away from Bluefactory, at Fri-Son, starting at 22:30. Enrica Falqui, the other half of ERIS will keep the dancefloor active and energized with her groovy electro and techno-influenced beats. On the 26th, after a brief break between 05:00 and 11:00, the party will start again at Bluefactory. A musical Sunday brunch will be available thanks to the collab with Les Menteurs, featuring Varveine aka VRVN, Lausanne-based composer, producer, and singer, and Argentina’s emerging artist Kendra with her live multifaceted acts ensuring the atmosphere. The festival will end at 22:00 on the 26th of May.
