As it enters its fifth edition, Passage Festival continues its steady evolution, this time expanding into a three day format in the Swiss city of Fribourg. Curated by Point76, the festival has built a reputation for consistency over spectacle, favouring carefully selected lineups and immersive environments over headline driven programming. For 2026, that approach remains intact, now with more space to unfold.
The extended schedule begins on Friday, May 15, running from 17:00 to 23:00 at Bluefactory, before opening up into a full Saturday programme from 13:00. As night falls, the action shifts to Fri-Son from 23:00 through to 05:00, before returning to Bluefactory for a final Sunday session from 11:00 to 22:00. It is a format that allows the festival to build gradually, moving between daylight and darkness without breaking its flow.
Musically, the curation remains rooted in depth and control. Last year’s tasteful curation included the likes of Christian AB, Laurine and Paquita Gordon. 2026 welcomes Shonky with his unmistakable take on minimal house, a sound that thrives in extended sets and suits Passage’s pacing. Alongside him, Giammarco Orsini and Marcolino bring their groove led sensibilities, both known for measured, detail focused selections that reward patience.
A notable addition is Adi, the Brussels based selector whose roots stretch between Europe and South America through her involvement with Bonanza Festival in Colombia. Her sets tend to drift between deep, ravey and subtly psychedelic territories, offering a slightly left of centre energy that fits naturally within Passage’s framework.
Astral Travel, the collaborative project of Oshana and Anthea, adds further weight. The duo are known for their tightly constructed sets and a shared catalogue of club ready material, balancing drive with finesse. Their presence points towards some of the more high energy moments across the weekend, without straying from the festival’s aesthetic.
The live programme remains an important pillar. Swiss acts Bandini, Molekühl and Dj Laxxiste A all appear in live format, while Otis brings a more hardware focused approach from Italy. Elsewhere, Josefina Tapia and Alexia Glensy represent a new generation of selectors operating across the deeper end of house and techno, complementing a strong local presence that includes Vito Losito and Wyatt.
As with previous editions, Passage avoids overcrowding its lineup, instead leaving room for longer sets and natural progression across its two dance floors. Combined with the creative spaces at Bluefactory, the result is a weekend that balances intensity with room to breathe.
With an expanded format and a lineup that leans into both experience and emerging energy, Passage Festival’s fifth edition looks set to build carefully on its foundations while maintaining the clarity of vision that has defined it so far.
