To celebrate their tenth season in operation Outcast Torino have been lining up some very special events of late. Earlier in the year we let you in on their new events hub Villa Blanco and they have already broken the seal on the stunning hilltop party space back in March with Onur Ozer, Raresh, Francesco Del Garda, Voodoos and Taboos and then with Nicolas Lutz in May. The crew have also been working hard behind the scenes on their first Central and South American tour which saw them launch with an almighty party alongside New York legends Resolute. Team members Alex Dima, Paolo Macri, and Cristian Sarde played alongside Z@p and this helped set them on their way for their extended stay in the Americas.
While some members of the team will be out of the country this definitely does not mean there will be no domestic parties. Quite the opposite in fact. Outcast are inexplicably linked to the biggest names in the game and they don’t get much bigger than Nicolas Lutz. Having linked with Nico earlier this year his imprint My Own Jupiter fits Outcast like hand in glove and they so they have devised a label showcase that will take place at Villa Blanco on Sunday, September 25th. Of course, Lutz will be headlining and there isn’t much that we can say about him that hasn’t already been said or cannot be understood by catching him behind a set of decks.
He will also be bringing with him badman selector Z@p and there is plenty to also say about this Phonoteque resident and also his releases for the likes of Cabaret Records, Melliflow, and Time Passages speak volumes about his acidic bomb laden locker. Fellow Uruguayan and Phonoteque crew Kino will also be repping MOJ and that neck breaking sound. Next up is Argentinian born, Barcelona based artist Tunik and having cut his teeth alongside Nicolas Lutz and collaborated with the boss man on the epic ‘Sentimental Stab’ EP as well as his own previous ‘New Beginning’ EP. Rounding out the team sheet for this 12-hour ride will be Outcast members Sick Advisor and they will be bringing their cumulative knowledge and record bags to set the party off into the stratosphere and way beyond.
