OFF Week Festival returns for 2020 edition

On Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th the Off Week Festival celebrates its second edition, something that quickly became a ‘must-go’ event in the international clubbing calendar. The 2020 edition has some news in store: the main novelty is that three-days will concentrate into two, while the others are currently still top-secret and will be revealed in a few days.

Confirming the festival tradition, labels and collectives will be the main exponents of the festival’s agenda, delivering their own sets of artists. This year, both the Afterlife and [a:rpia:r] crews will return, with a stage each on Friday, June 19th, together with Solid Grooves as a new entry. On Saturday, June 20th, OFF Week Festival is welcoming both Solomun‘s Diynamic and Ricardo Villalobos‘s FRRC, the latter also returning after the success of last year. Again a new entry for the Saturday session will be the addition of the highly anticipated Secretsundaze party brand.

In a few days, the first batch of artists performing at each event will be revealed so make sure you stay tuned. The organizers behind OFF Week Festival have an impressive curriculum, being the main driving force that made OFF week so popular: this, in fact, will be the eighth edition organized, with the first six ‘Off at Forum’ umbrella, and the lastest two as “OFF Week Festival”. Last Junes edition gathered 30,000 people and marked a new record.

The pre-sale for festival tickets will begin on Thursday, November 28th at 4 PM (Spanish time) on Resident Advisor.

[a:rpia:r]
A driving force behind their [a:rpia:r] label, Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, and Raresh together will perform under their RPR Soundsystem moniker. They managed to lead a unique generation of DJ’s that have placed Romania in the spotlight of the current and possibly future clubbing universe. From an irrevocable anti-commercial position, their joint performance can be found only at the most exclusive festivals and clubs of the international scene. The purpose of [a:rpia:r] is not to conquer headlines, but the dancefloor instead, and arguments are definitely not lacking.

RICARDO VILLALOBOS X FRRC
If Ricardo Villalobos is in control of the DJ booth, the party is guaranteed. The Chilean needs no introduction, as his figure is already legendary. Regular at the Forum, he returns once again with his own FRRC by Ricardo Villalobos, brand-party created and designed especially by the master for the special occasions. The line-up of the last edition was absolutely astonishing with Craig Richards, Mathew Jonson (LIVE), Sonja Moonear, Vera and Nicolas Lutz. Let’s see what surprises us this year … but we are already certain that Villalobos himself will spin records for his guests. Tic-tac…

AFTERLIFE
Afterlife is an immersive experience. In their own words: “an odyssey through the realm of consciousness“. Anyone who has been to one of their events knows what they mean. The intentions of Tale Of Us with Afterlife have always been to take you on a trip to another dimension. Whether on their label, with that unmistakable hypnotic techno sound, or with the spectacular events, which have toured Amsterdam, New York, Buenos Aires, Tulum and Ibiza, among many others. Events with massive success, led by the duo that today is among the biggest names in world electronics: Tale Of Us.

SOLID GROOVES
Nominated at the DJ Mag Awards for the best UK label this 2019, Solid Grooves has built a solid fan base global in a short time thanks to its club events, festival performances and its summery residences in Ibiza. True to its name, the sound of the label balances between techno and the powerful house groove which leads straight to the dancefloor. Artists such as Skream, Paranoid London, James Zabiela, Richy Ahmed, Guti, Josh Butler, Detlef or Darius Syrossian have passed through their parties. Their last Ibizan adventure in Privilege was called “Fcuk the Fakes”, with a punk aesthetic and an attitude without compromise: HEDONISM and GROOVE. Thus, in capital letters. “Are you a groover?”

DIYNAMIC
Diynamic Music has had an immense impact on the international underground electronic music scene, a brand with a constant and unstoppable rise. Founded in 2006 by Solomun and Adriano Trolio in Hamburg, and under the indispensable leitmotiv of “do it yourself”, it has been placed in its own right among the most relevant electronic music labels in the world. The Diynamic Festivals in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Brazil, its two weekly residences in Ibiza, including the infamous “Solomun + 1” events at Pacha, as well as its own stages at major music festivals around the world make Diynamic a global phenomenon.

SECRETSUNDAZE
If there is a label that has turned the world electronic scene upside down in recent years, it is undoubtedly James Priestley & Giles Smith‘s Secretsundaze. He has achieved it thanks to his new club culture sight, which is as fresh as addictive. Their parties and events are practically a religion for their followers. Since 2002 they have been doing what they do best: follow their hearts, not the hype. Secretsundaze manages music for dancing, based on the roots, with a clear desire to link the old and the new, drawing a timeless sound landscape. Its main objective: to promote the true spirit of dance music and its message …
