Having been bringing minimal and electro to The Hague for nearly 3 years now Nieuw Hollands Spoor have rightly begun to stretch into Amsterdam’s booming scene. Making their Amsterdam debut back in May with a one-off special that featured Voigtmann and Spacetravel at one of The Dam’s most coveted after-hours’ spots BRET the NHS team return to another of the cities infamous venues – Veronicaschip.
Joining forces with NHS once again is tried and tested cohorts Undefined, a collective of Amsterdam based artists and record label of the same name that counts Voigtmann, Lee Burton, Alex Picone, Ferro and Charonne amongst their ranks. They too have also been bringing some of the scenes brightest stars to Holland over the past few years and have welcomed the likes of Barac, Nu Zau, Ferro, Martinez, Michael Melchner as well as their very own Undefined Sound System.
So now that we are up to speed on the main protagonists of this special soiree that will be taking place on Friday, November 22nd at Veronicaschip it is time to explain just how special the other elements to this party is. As well as the undeniable talents of Undefined’s Unnik and Tom Kraan and the NHS Soundsystem the joint team will be welcoming Berlin-based but world-wide nurtured Melliflow imprint. Created by crate digger extraordinaire Vera and Sunrise artist Alexandra, the label has gone from strength to strength since Spacetravel inaugurated it back in 2016 and many a unique and envelope-pushing artist now happily call it home. There are none such unique or forward-thinking than Uruguay and previous NHS guest Z@p. With his productions being every bit as original and unique as his DJ sets Z@p is currently one of the most in-demand artists on the circuit and we all know just how special Vera and Alexandra are.
It is also worth noting that both Z@p and Alexandra both hail from the same microcosm of artists known as SIXNINES, a Berlin-based platform for artists that shares the same out of the box musical ethos. The quality found in this line-up should never be understated and the only way to gain a true understanding of the Melliflow vibe is to truly immerse yourself in this party. With Veroniaschip offering a limited capacity and on point Funktion One sound system this is a party you do not want to miss out on.
