There is no denying that 2020 has been arguably one of the turning points in dance music’s history. With almost every facet of our beloved world turned upside down for a number of different reasons the amount of dialogue that has been opened up has been impressive but more is required in order to give voice to the many hot topics that encircle dance music.
Having previously discussed issues such as mental health and homelessness Needs (not-for-profit) created by Pleasure Club and fabric resident Bobby will return tonight to discuss sustainability in dance music. Moderated by Kitty Bartlett, the Facebook panel discussion will welcome views and opinions from a sound collection of industry artists and activists looking to cover the burning questions on dance music’s effect on the environment and what can be done to inform party-goers on greener options in order to aide climate control.
Panelists include co-founder of Meadows in the Mountains Benjamin Sasse, Ecodisco founder Hadi Ahmadzadeh, Radio One DJ Saoirse, environmentalist, and POLY. Artists agent Eilidh McLaughlin, and Village Underground / EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) member Jorge Andres Nieto.
