Move the Record reveal opening program for record store initiative

Global initiative Move the Record has been set up in order to support independent record stores worldwide who are facing a period of uncertainty in light of the economic repercussions of the pandemic. In association with Dana Ruh and her KMA60 store in Berlin the program of live streams that will be taking on Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th will feature stores from Europe, the United States, and South America.

Over the course of the 2 x 12-hour program taking place on Mixcloud as well as there being a full complement of top artists spinning there will also be some great savings to be had at participating stores. So, as well as supporting your favourite record store you could bag a real bargain as some stores will offer up to 20% off some of their vinyl. That is not all, it is possible to contribute to the initiative and this will also mean that you could be in with a chance of winning some serious goodies as the various partners involved are offering vinyl, hardware, studio sessions, production courses and merchandise from the likes of  Ortofon GermanyAbletonFactory BerlinNATIVE INSTRUMENTSPoint Blank Music SchoolR&S Records Pressure TraxxTom Hemp’sWarner Music Germany and more with 100% of proceeds being distributed among the participating stores.
