Moroccan festival MOGA announce Margaret Dygas, Rhadoo and more for October’s edition

MOGA festival is back with another list of tasteful names joining their October edition in Morocco.

The curation is set in the stunning coastal sands of Essaouira, Morocco, running from October 2nd to 6th with a range of local and international artists invited for the celebration. Morocco’s minimal and micro-house scene has been evolving over the past 10 years by a collection of hardworking individuals hosting smaller events with artists from Europe.

MOGA Festival are at the heart of this community nurturing of stripped back sounds with their off parties and festivals including more scene defining artists with each showcase, their upcoming festival will feature an unprecedented number of artists.

Huge headliners in the likes of Dixon and Damian Lazarus head up the bill, alongside the deep house innovators Âme bring their live set which has been refined over their 15+ year career. The festival has always been dedicated to showcasing the best of electronic music, both globally and locally. This commitment continues in 2024 with the lineup featuring a diverse range of artists from across the world.

Live performances from local acts will feature across the weekend with traditional Moroccan instruments, as well as extended sets from the reputable minimal maestros. Rhadoo and Praslea are invited for the ride, as well as the taste-making trio Apollonia.

Previously announced performers include Seth Troxler, Pachanga Boys, DJ Tennis and many more will be joined by the second wave of artists. This careful curation ensures a festival experience unlike any other in Morocco, with a unique blend of sounds and cultures.

MOGA Festival aims to be a celebration of Essaouira, the beautiful “wind city” of Morocco. The festival kicks off with OFF festival events on October 2nd and 3rd, offering free access to open parties, art exhibits, food experiences, and sea sports, all designed to immerse festival-goers in the rich culture and traditions of Essaouira.

From October 4th to 6th, the heart of the festival unfolds at the luxurious SOFITEL Golf & Spa. Here, festival-goers can lose themselves in the music across four diverse stages – Main, Garden, Wild, and Terrace – featuring over 70 artists from around the world. Take a break between sets and cool off in the refreshing swimming pools or wander through the lush palm grove.

It’s fair to say witnessing the likes of Rhadoo and Apollonia in this stunning environment is going to be one for the books.
