Now in its third year, Gans Anders Festival in Innsbruck has already massively enriched the local music landscape. With its diverse program of music and art provided a dedicated team of creatives from the surrounding area and further afield the gathering is a jewel in the crown in summer festival season. As with previous editions, Gans Anders will take place along the banks of the Innsbruck quarry lake between September 22nd and 24th and will feature a raft of artists across a range of finely curated stages.
One such stage that should be top of your hit list is the lakeside SchlossAlbatros Stage on September 23rd and for the duration of day two the musical program will be taken care of by last year’s collaborators Mont Lake and Tante Emma. Last year’s hook up went so well it was a certainty that they would return. Overlooking the stunning lake will DJ sets from Housetanten (Easyridler b2b Kapellmeister), Serginho, Eli Verveine, and Barbara Preisinger.
Not wishing to stop the party Tante Emma will again be hosting an official after party that day and of course they will be presenting an unstoppable showcase from their talented group of residents and their guests. Joining the Emma residents on the Main Floor will be Italian bomb factory Giuliano Lomonte. If you have ventured to any major event this summer you will have undoubtedly lost your mind to some of his bangers and no mistake.
Gans Anders is not just an event dedicated to electronic music, there will also be performances from live bands and acts, forward thinking art installations and stage design, workshops, as well a range of relaxing activities to give you some breathing space away from the action.
