Logistic Records will be throwing a release party at Hoppetosse this weekend

Legendary Parisian label Logistic Records has, since 1996 propelling all manner of underground bombs into the history books. From their Telegraph sub label to the main imprint they have welcomed Robert Hood, Mike Shannon, Daniel Bell, to label originators Static Drum and John Thomas there has been many entries into the footnotes of electronic music.

To celebrate the release from Ark & Pit and their ‘Ouevre Dark’ LP on Logistic Records a massive label showcase has been organised on Saturday, February 25th. The venue for this extended celebration of this expansive body of work will be none other than Berlin’s Hoppetosse. As good a place as any in the world for an extended trip into sound Hoppetosse will be playing host to a gathering of Logistic family members that are well accustomed to rocking parties. Release creator’s brothers Ark & Pit will be performing live if their wide ranging ‘Ouevre Dark’ LP is anything to go by there will be huge array of sounds that includes forward thinking tech house, stunningly deep soundscapes, throbbing minimalism, downtempo gems and even hip hop.

Joining in on the action will be Dave Aju, with serious Jazz roots at his core this artist is amongst one of the most influential house artists of our time. Being one of the pivotal artist within the Circus Company stable of artists Aju has also been called upon to remix hip hop label track ‘Grand Huit’. Also on the bill will be another hugely influential artist is Losoul and his part of the infamous Playhouse label as well as Logistic has long cemented his place as an electronic icon. With 13 hours of playtime across the showcase there will also be sets from Berlin mainstay Leiris, Etlon Jon, and Alexx & Gil.
