Tenax is a legendary Italian venue that has been hosting musical talent since 1981.
Often described as a ‘family club’ which is driven by a regular crowd and artists consistently returning to the space. Since 81′, the club has hosted everything from 80s new wave bands to some of the biggest DJs around, although it’s the infamous ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ party that has gained Tenax its notorious reputation.
The Saturday night party has played host to practically every top DJ over the last 20 years and is one of the most desired places to play. Next up to grace the decks is a legend in his own right, Valentino Kanzyani. The Slovenian veteran has been releasing and spinning music since the early 2000s, pushing the boundaries of club music through progressive and trancey moods, as well as some of the most plush minimal heard on his LuckIsOn label.
Saturday 21st October marks the 42nd season of Tenax’s ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ night, setting the standards for what a party of longevity looks like. Long sets, resident DJs, a regular crowd and a great sound system.
Joining the legend Valentino Kanzyani is fellow Slovenian artist Mayell. Also a key member of the LuckisOn crew, Mayell has been slowly establishing himself in the Slovenian underground and will soon feature over in the US for Resolute. It’s also this eye for talent which makes Tenax so special, giving rising artists a chance to play to an educated crowd where they can really experiment and evolve their craft.
Joining them is another upcoming artist, Sibil. The French selector has been impressing dance floors all over with sets at the likes of Nostromo and for tINI’s gang showcases. Tenax residents Cole and Dizzy will be warming up the floor, true to the club’s trusty ethos.
