It seems like a lifetime ago that we were last discussing Houghton Festival and enjoying the buzz that comes with the massive line-up being announced. This time around things are most assuredly different as the issues that have “plagued” the British festival and club scene are waning somewhat. Restrictions are lifted in most corners of the UK and travel bans are also in the process of easing. This means that the news we have been waiting for is that it is full mode ‘Hought-On’ for 2022.
As always, the four-day long event will be taking place at Houghton Hall and will run from Thursday, August 11th to Sunday, August 14th and the selection of artists, if you can call it that, is insane. To say that Craig Richards and his team have been working hard behind the scenes to make up for last time since their last event is the understatement of the century. We are certain that there will be massive tweaks to the production of the festival but the artists alone is something truly worth missing three years on the bounce.
We won’t list all the artists that will be taking part as we have included the full artwork below but there will all the usual suspects such as Ricardo Villalobos, Voigtmann, Nicolas Lutz, Raresh, Rhadoo, Francesco Del Garda, of course Craig Richards as well as a host of other sonic delights. With truly something for everybody you just need to cast your eye across the artwork for an idea of how huge this event is and just how much it has been missed.
