With Sunny Side’s debut event earlier this year receiving well-deserved recognition and being an overall success among electronic music aficionados, it’s time to discuss the details of their next music affair on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Malta. So far, one thing is clear: the crew behind it promised and delivered big time! And as they managed to keep the standards high, for the upcoming edition taking place between 16-18 May 2025, our expectations are just as high, and rightfully so.
Malta isn’t just an ordinary summer destination. It’s a place where traces of history are all around, where different cultures mingled and thrived over time, cultivating this unique heritage the island has. A place where Italian, British, Arab, and of course, Maltese influences form an unmatched symbiosis that defines today’s cultural diversity of Malta. An island blessed with sunshine and warm weather all year round, with diverse natural landscapes and breathtaking architecture. Just one more reason to join next year’s Sunny Side Festival is so you can discover this wonderful piece of land in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea on your own, all while listening to their refined selection of artists surrounded by like-minded people.
That being said, it’s time to move on to the much-awaited news. The first wave of artists looks promising, with names such as Christian AB, JNJS, and Enrica Falqui sprinkling their house magic onto the dancefloor. Felipe Valenzuela, Matthew Johnson, and Hostom aka Varhat will showcase their flair through individual live sets not to be missed. Bruno Schmidt, Alexia Glensy, and Alex Dima will bring their charming electro grooves behind the decks. Ryan Elliott and Panorama Bar’s resident PARAMIDA will deliver that proper Berlin sound on the stage, and Tod Louie will provide a refined minimal set. More artists to look forward to include: Bae2bae, BASHKKA, Johhny Rock, Mayell, Sibil, Shanti Celeste, and Mari.te.
