Equation Festival in Vietnam confirms full details of their seventh edition

Vietnamese gathering Equation Festival returns for its seventh edition and again proves its credentials in gathering communities and artists from around the globe. Between April 4th to 6th the stunning natural beauty of Mỏ Luông Cave in Mai Châu, Vietnam, will again play host to a raft of international and regional artists who will perform over two finely curated stages. This boutique festival ensures the immersive experience is open to all attendees, with the capacity capped at 999 people. This care and attention to the ravers gives everybody the freedom to explore everything Equation Festival has to offer.

Now that you know the when and the where, we now get to the important subject of the who. As Equation Festival will be taking place in the lush locale of Northern Vietnam there is a huge resource of talent to draw on from the region. With each artist being a major player in their respective home scenes there will be a huge variation of sounds and spectacles to enjoy throughout the festival.

To add that international flavour there will also be a small but perfectly formed and highly sought-after curation of artists headlining the festival. With all acts having well and truly proved their credentials on the world stage an already impressive cast will be perfectly complemented.

John Talabot (Spain)
Peach (UK)
CEM (Germany)
Partok (Germany)
D. Tiffany (Canada)
Jacob Meehan (Germany)
Tundji (Netherlands)

To put the icing on the cake the aforementioned artists will be presenting their sonic vision on two naturally beautiful stages. Firstly, given the perfect temperatures, the open-air stage is always a winner and the naturally stunning Garden Stage is housed at the Mai Chau Lodge. The resort complex is the perfect place to connect with nature in a respectful and sustainable fashion while enjoying the uplifting atmosphere of Equation Festival.

The second stage, and perhaps one of the most uniquely jaw-dropping party destinations we have come across, The Cave Stage will be located inside Mo Luong Cave. The magnificent natural structures provide optimum acoustic conditions that match the impressive backdrop which will be expertly amplified by the crack audio / visual team of Human Spectrum Collective. If you caught our coverage of Fly To The Moon festival earlier this year then you will have some idea what to expect from their work.

One aspect of human nature which Asia seems to have firmly grasped has been harnessed and nurtured at Equation Festival by way of their eye-popping and side-splitting onstage antics. Drag crews from Ha Noi to Sai Gon will be combining to raise the atmosphere to match the soundtrack that will this year come courtesy of Peach X GenderFunk X Snug. Canadian artist Peach is well-versed in raising the roof and her energetic yet highly diverse sets are a firm fixture at the finest gatherings around the world. Expect a colourful party of the highest order with the backing of equally colourful stage friends.

World-class music and cutting-edge stage design is not all that is on offer at Equation Festival. With art and design being one of the core pillars of the event, there will be art installations to be found and interacted with dotted around each festival stage. With sustainability and renewable materials being central, the team of Culm-Innate will be crafting a range of immersive experiences for festival goers, what they can create using bamboo will further cement this being a go-to destination for adventurous festival heads.
