Due to the 5th edition sadly being cancelled following health and safety concerns, Epizode Records has been created in order to fill the void left by the shelved 20/21 event. The Vietnamese based festival has in the last five years quickly worked its way into the hearts and minds of the international events consciousness by way of its wide-ranging underground musical ethos. It will be these ranging styles that will inform the upcoming output from the label.
The Epizode family that counts names such as Ricardo Villalobos, [ar:pia:r], and Sonja Moonear, as well as a host of top parties and labels amongst its ranks, clearly indicates that minimal house and techno will be a major part of the label setup. The good news for budding producers and seasoned pros alike is that the label is now on the hunt for artists to join their roster and Epizode Records is now actively seeking demos for their label. With the 4 stages of Epizode Festival playing host to all manner of genres, there is no denying that minimal has a serious stronghold at the beach festival so we surmise there will be no shortage of top tracks to pick from. You never know, next year we could be writing about you performing at Epizode Festival 21/22 so time to get back in the studio.
