With the vast array of events on the cards this ADE it is hard to imagine there would be the appetite or stamina for another after-party, but this is ADE and the after-parties alone are worth making the trip for. Romanian promoter Drums have again been charged with taking care of the all-important last after party of the festival. After the success of last year’s event at Undercurrent (the previous incarnation of Ponton) and previous to that the madness was welcomed by Madam it was a no brainer for Drums to be given the nod again.
Returning to the NDSM hotspot location for the second year in a row, the after-party will take place at new incarnation Ponton. The waterfront venue has been hosting some of the festivals’ top events and this unique multi-space indoor/outdoor venue is the perfect site for the carnage that will most definitely ensue on Sunday, October 20th.
This final fling will be taking flight at 9pm and not slowing down until 8am the next day and will feature a more compact yet rominimal meets berlin minimal focused array of artists. As you might have guessed from a party of this calibre the line-up is brimming with talent and it includes Dan Andrei, Ion Ludwig, Priku, Children of Valis, Topper and Doris Nicholas. With Amsterdam Dance Event growing to become a pivotal week in world dance music you can put money on Drums’ after-party being more than a fitting end to a wild week in Sin City.
