Founded back in 2011, Croatian based gathering Dimensions Festival has grown to become a firm favourite of the selector community as well as with the bonafide heads that populate the many facets that make up this truly unique festival. From the boat parties that cruise around the Aegean Sea that surrounds their new home of The Garden Resort, Tisno to the fabled moat raves and of course the jaw-dropping opening concerts Dimensions is a cherished part of the worldwide music scene.
Taking place between Thursday, August 13th and Tuesday, August 18th Dimensions Festival draws on a wildly eclectic music taste but effortlessly works this into a coherent schedule of parties that easily complement each other. So, it comes as little surprise that the first wave of artists to be announced has something for everybody.
Heading up the festival is Floating Points whose live performance will open the festival by way of the hotly anticipated and consistently magical opening concert. Also, coming in the first phase is DJ Koolt, DJ Masda, DJ Stingray, Francesco Del Garda, Gene On Earth, Hamish & Toby, Kosh, Margaret Dygas, Nicolas Lutz, Sweely (live), The Ghost, Truly Madly, Vera, Zip as well as associated brands such as Butter Side Up, Cosmic Slop, Freerotation, My Own Jupiter and The Pickle Factory. It is safe to say that Dimensions are not done with their announcements by a long way, so keep your eyes peeled early 2020 for more names that will make it all but impossible to not seriously consider moving this festival to the top of your 2020 to-do list.
