The fabled long weekend that effectively acts as a season closer, Dimensions Festival is Croatia’s Tisno is as magical as the folklore describes. We have been dovering this special gathering for many years now and with each passing edition it just simply gets better and better. It is very easy to see why it is so revered as the full lineup dropping recently will attest. As well as the natural beauty of The Garden Resort, the pristine beaches, the excellent outdoor stages, Tisno is also home to perhaps one of the finest al fresco clubs in the world – Barbarellas.
It is this stunning venue that will house the after parties for the main section of the festival and what a lineup they have planned for this year. What is also great to see is that there are some changes afoot too. The first after party taking place will be on Friday, August 30th and this honour will fall to the combined forces of The Ghost x Limousine Dream. Heading up this heady affair will be the production and DJ collab of the two names – Coast 2 Coast, The Ghost and Gene On Earth will be joined at this first party by Peach, Admo (live), and Bruno Schmidt.
The next night there will be even more to shout about as New York powerhouses ReSolute will be throwing the after stage bash for the first time. Known for their impeccable artist curation, they will be bringing with them some of that well known razzle dazzle in the form of Fumiya Tanaka, Mathew Jonson (live), Doudou MD, and O.BEE & Tomas Station. Few can argue with their credentials and that is one of the finest afterparty lineups you will see all year.
The third and final afters of the festival will again fall to MARICAS, and after the way in which the closed things down last year, few will argue that they should return to do it all again. The fun loving, queer friendly party absolutely nailed it last year with their high energy, party bombs centric approach and with Eris Drew playing back to back with ISAbella, while completing the party will be Saoirse and Iivwutang.
Just make sure you move quickly on passes for these parties as they now down to their final release and when they are, they are gone.
