Since announcing back in June that Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse is in need of your support to remain active the venues have surpassed the first goal of €50,000 and are now currently sitting at around the €60,000 mark. This is an immense achievement and testament to just how much these clubs mean to the Berlin and world nightlife community.
The first phase of fundraising was required in order to cover the club’s basic running costs and now the second phase has begun in order to complete the rebuild and meet the new restrictions necessary to continue functioning. With the venue’s operating most days of the week and offering some of the best programming in the world when it comes to minimal and underground music the next stage is essential to the survival of these clubs.
The next phase of fundraising will aim to raise the amount of €150,000 and by doing so will allow CDV to rebuild the parts of the venue that were seriously damaged by the fire that devastated the club in 2019. These funds will also allow CDV to meet the ongoing governmental requirements in order to remain open during these uncertain times.
