French collective Beau Mot Plage continues to grow into an inspiring force within France’s scene. Regular events have welcomed the likes of Jane Fitz all night long, Junki Inoue and Liquid Earth alongside their trusty roster of residents.
To mark the milestonesix-yearr anniversary, the crew invites two exciting artists in Desyn and Matthias. Both are equally as charming, from Desyn’s esteemed history in the scene and obscene record collection, to Matthias’ already incredibly influential Superluminal imprint, his countless tastemaking productions and impressive turntablism skills behind the decks.
Taking over the impressive La Machine Du Moulin Rouge venue in Paris, next Saturday 28th May will see an esteemed curation of artists let loose in the space until 6am. Music will be spread across two rooms, with just Desyn and Matthias in the central room, both given extended sets to express themselves to an eager-eared crowd.
Close Superluminal affiliate and rising selector So-Fi heads up the second room, spinning alongside local and trusty selectors Lemoan & Dso and Venard. Beau Mot Plage’s passion for the digging culture is present in their entire ethos, from selecting intimate and top sounding venues, to their evolution in bookings giving attention to artists on the rise and presenting them with extended sets.
The full crew can be seen regularly across Paris, whether it’s warming up for the legend D’Julz at Rex Club, or spinning at the beloved Nostromo festival, the seasoned selectors among the crew sure know how to throw and soundtrack a memorable party. Many friendly faces are sure to be in tow as the collective celebrate their sixth year since inception, continuing to bring people together through great music.
