It’s been a busy year for Romanian collective them. They have settled in comfortably to their very own warehouse in the heart of Bucharest – where they’ll return this weekend with Herodot, Magda, Nu Zau, Sublee and Zach G. If it wasn’t enough to make such a mark in the Romanian capital, this fruitful new venture paved the way across Europe, for a spring/summer season off the sunnier shores of Barcelona. Now, their rise over the continent continues, as Amsterdam becomes the latest city to scratch into this year’s clubbing calendar.
Of course, the moment for such an occasion doesn’t come much more suited than a big old session at ADE. The revered music festival spans right across the Dutch clubbing capital and previous attendees in abundance will no doubt have made it their mission to make it to the final shebang – the ADE closing party, where five days celebrating the sound becomes channeled into one last, mammoth session.
Since the infamous afters began four years ago, them have become a staple member of the crew behind it. Last year they brought over the sound of Romania in full force and the lineup for the next one promises to be just seductive. You’ll no doubt want to make this one your priority on the last day of the ADE dance.
