Eject Records are back with a 12-track various artist release.
The Bristol-based outfit celebrates 10 releases with friends and family curation. Label regulars Wodda and DXNBY bring fresh cuts, as well as a number of new faces exploring the label’s tastes within stripped-back house music.
Driving focus into the collectives label output has led to a stream of well-received releases in just two years since inception. Pre-covid, regular showcases invited many of the FUSE crew alongside their roster of residents.
Label co-founder Goras opens the release with a luscious 10-minute head trip. A squirmy bassline darts between gentle percussion, steadily unfolding throughout. Soft and alluring melodies cast a warm, romantic atmosphere adept at the sentimental title ‘Missing You’.
The elusive producer Shroom returns to the label with a standout cut. ‘Mustang Love’ meanders through a sun-kissed mood, dialling into an old-school drum palate and uplifting melodies gasping for an open-air gig.
Hats are crisp and loosely swung, creating a blissful vibe that hits a satisfying spot similar to the moods on his well-received EP for Eject back in September, with frequent support from Archie Hamilton.
DXNBY brings a neat garagey cut in his return to the label. Confident melodies remnant of 80s synth work flirt with a zesty bassline, bound to bring smiles to many dance floors. A fresh, celebratory vibe runs throughout the release, with each producer bringing slick flavours marking the label’s 10th output.
Leeds based producer Two Coats shapes a chunky heater in his contribution ‘Item 9’. Video game-esque melodies drive the track through a playful workout, boasting a nimble bassline and tight percussion.

Sambo’s EP also featured in our premiere of last years ‘I Know’ EP on the label, flexing drum and bass influences with stripped-back house.
