New York-based label Ninetofire’s next release comes from label co-founder VAVAV this March, with three intricate analog house cuts entitled ‘Human House’.
The track we have chosen for the premiere is named “NY Sometimes“, quite evoking name for a release on a label based in Manhattan and centered around Sear Sound Studio in Hell’s Kitchen.
Since the first time we had a listen to the whole EP, we quickly realised how the track really stands out from the rest, which are still very refined and perfectly produced efforts from VAVAV.
“NY Sometimes” is at the same time very musical, with a charming melody, dancing grooves and vibes which are perfect for or a sunny afterparty or a closing set. The few but sharp elements are scientifically build up and blended around an instrumental core, which makes the track to easily stick in the long term memory once heard, together with a clear image of New York skyline at sunset.
Human House drops on April 30 and can be pre-ordered here.
