The long-awaited (at least, in Ukraine) fifth release of Hypnohouse label is filled with local bangers. This release’s way was rather long, and it can’t be different if you’re producing music in Ukraine. While DJ 69 is constantly volunteering like crazy with his Kyiv Angels organisation, Yaroslav M is writing music between the air raid alerts. Just as victor.b, who helped with the track, we’re having today.
“Pog (victor.b Remix)” is starting like something mellow. Moderate pace, minimalistic sounds… And all that ends just after the first minute, when the “horseriding” structure (local joke) starts. With that stuff you can dance literally for hours, but that’s not all inside the track. When you could probably think that that’s it – we’re having 7 minutes of moderate stomping here – we have some rave piano. Stripped back rave piano, but still. After listening, many have said, that victor.b did some unexpected stuff here. Can only agree.
If we’re talking about the original version of “Pog” – that’s a little more energetic. We’re having a bit harder bassline + additional melodies in the second part of the track. The A2 on the record is called “Daydreaming” and it was a hard choice between this one and our today’s premiere. Easily one of the best pieces, Yaroslav M (also known as AC130) has produced so far. The only minus in the track – the most beautiful part starts just a minute before the end. We need some VIP version here with some extended ending, definitely. The last one, we’re talking about here, is “Revelation” – a very delicate bigroom piece – because of the echoes, that make it so big.
The release date is just around the corner, hope you already made your pre-orders at Juno, Deejay, Red Eye Records or wherever you’re buying your wax.

This article was written in Ukraine. Ukraine is in the middle of the war with Russia right now. Would be great if you could donate to the biggest Ukrainian volunteer fund here. Also, you can pick any music initiative, that is also trying to help from our list here. We’ll be stronger together.
