It seems that Brawther loves those competitions between the producers. We recently wrote about one Dungeon Meat, and now he and Chez Damier (that’s some names!) arranged one inside Interweaved community. Two winners of the first round got the remixes from the other members of the community. So, what have we got here?
We’re jumping directly to the end, where DJ Rouge from London got the transatlantic remix of his track, coming from the Montreal-based South Shore Garage. VERY calm, but still energetic breakbeat house with a pinch of hip-house too. It seems, that there’s nothing to add, but the track doesn’t get boring all the way till its end. Not an easy thing to do inside this vibe. The voice of Dunique is our companion during this calm walk and it fits it just perfectly. The original version of “Uplift” is missing all the broken beat, taking us into even some slower department of the deepest of the deepest houses. I would say, Paradiso-type of house.
That was the B-side. On the opening here we actually have the winner of that contest. And I can see why – Roy Vision produced something, that sounds exactly like Brawther and Chez Damier baby. Moderately deep, moderately bouncy, again – never boring. The sunsets of the world should be craving “4 One Another” to be played. On the remixing duties we have Marley Sherman from Australia, which immediately adds some more bounces to this, without forgetting about the deep side of the track.
The release is just the thing, you can expect, seeing the names of Balance, Brawther and Chez Damier together. If you’re into those types of sounds – plan a trip to Juno, Deejay, Decks or wherever you’re buying your wax.
