Hypnohouse label enters 2026 with its eighth release. And Katia & Nizar (aka Katia Curie and Nizar Sarakbi) are in charge of it.
One of the most interesting duos on the scene (they’re as great in their solo acts), with their Ukrainian connections, seems to be a perfect choice for the label from Ukraine. And the B1 track, “Damaged”, seems to be the best option for today’s premiere. Buzzing, bubbling, full of sounds, slow but steady. Just perfect.
The first track on the record, and the only solo one, coming from Nizar is called “Neutrino”. A perfect edge between electro and progressive house. “High Tide” by two of them is maybe even more interesting, but stays on the same road, echoes from progressive, buzzing (just a little one) from the electro side. And the last one here, “Bezmanevriv”, takes us into some broken side with Ukrainian voice samples.
Easily one of the most interesting pieces of Hypnohouse discography. Already up for pre-grabbing at Juno, Deejay, and Decks.
