Delirious crew is ready with the second masterpiece (did you manage to have the first one? Lucky you!). This time, they’re unveiling the new moniker of Ukrainian talent Shjva, Esq. With the legendary Jay Tripwire on the remix duties.
And we’re starting with this one, the one from the B-side. The remix of “M00D” has a deeper groove, leaning totally into the signature for Jay’s minimalistic area. “For the main groove of the remix, I created a groove on the Norand Mono, the acid-style bass, and a few percussion elements. The drums are a combo of Erica Synths LXR and Lorre Mill Double knot 3. Everything runs into my Eurorack effects, and I did the remix completely live, no DAW.” That’s how it was done.
The original “M00D” is harder; the groove inside is almost swinging. We can hear some bleep elements in the background. The sound that you can expect from Shjva, still with a little new twist of Esq. “C-Tripio” is definitely going to the breaks territory, as gently as it can.
The first record sold out in the blink of an eye. You can still check on this one at Juno, Deejay, Decks, or any other good record store. At least, try to.
