The label from Lviv, Ukraine, known as Hypnohouse, is back with its sixth installment, introducing some new names to the roster. Well, let’s say they’re KINDA new because the artist, now going by the name Troy VS, was formerly known as Troy, representing Odesa. Despite the name change, the tracks are still impressive, so let’s dive in.
The main feature here is “No Bazaar”, arguably the standout track on this release. With hard kicks and nostalgic melodies, the entire release pays homage to Troy’s hometown and the renowned Port club. This track is bound to grab you on the dancefloor and keep you hooked—a clear sign of its quality.
“Won’t Hurt U”, the first track on the release, starts with a trippy intro and evolves into a trippsy-like roller (you should check early Hypnohouse releases for the references), perhaps with a slightly heavier bass. Speaking of a heavier bass, “Mehr” won’t disappoint if you’re in the mood for something like that—buzzing all the way. On the contrary, “Aspect” is another smooth roller, not as trippy as the A1 track, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
This sixth release is kinda a sign of stability during hard times. If you want to hear the seventh ASAP, a quick sell-out will surely speed up its arrival. Juno, Deejay, Decks – you know what to do.
