Ukrainian label Aimed is returning after its last main series release in January 2022, and, after releasing some “limited” stuff, this time going back to its roots. The spotlight here is on Palmiz, who recently also featured on iO Mulen’s Hoarder label. Fans of that sound will find plenty to enjoy in this release.
“Strange From 94” is a track that feels like it belongs in spring rather than winter—trancey, ravey, and atmospheric, it’s perfect for massive crowds where everyone is smiling at you and sharing a water bottle when you need it.
“Chimera,” the opening track, offers a similar mood—a mysterious and captivating blend of trance and house that works wonders in the middle of a banging set.
On the B-side, “Tropyc” carries the same vibe but leans more into the “tools” category in its first half. Finally, “Acid Washing” closes out the EP with a more active bassline, adding a fresh twist to the overall vibe.
Aimed releases tend to sell out quickly and rarely reissues, so you know the drill—grab your copy at Deejay already.
