S.A.M shapes a sublime slice of dub techno.

The prolific Berg Audio imprint present their 14th output since inception in 2016. Debuting on the label, rising talent Dust Yard joins an esteemed list of featured artists, alongside Janeret, iO (Mulen), Traumer and more.

Vril yields a dub techno portrait of peak time with a powerful remix. Euphoric pads distend during the break, shimmering with warmth. Dust Yard’s original ‘Celest’ offers a relaxed vibe, braced by a soft bassline amongst a bed of eloquent melodies.

S.A.M reveals the diversity of his production methods with an elegant reshape. Catering to the dub sound of the imprint, intricate patterns grace the beat, dripping in angelic reverb. Sustained chords soak over the mix, lathering the track with feeling.

Gentle hats carry the rhythm, furnishing a tech-house sprint familiar with S.A.M’s productions as Mandar alongside fellow Frenchmen Lazar Hoche and Malin Genie.
