Premiere: A1 – Timur Basha – Sluhay & Dyakuy [BM21]

Not our regular premiere today since we captured a VERY rare moment of the appearance of Timur Basha on vinyl. Basic Moves, number 21, the first EVER solo release of Timur.

To be honest, Timur told about the EP by himself, in the best possible way, recently on his Instagram post. How he created and compiled it, we’ll only highlight some moments we liked. So, the premiere of today, “Sluhay & Dyakuy”. Very meditative from the beginning, fully danceable from the first minute. Just like his best sets.

“Taxi Clearance” in its original version gives us more of those meditative moments, still making our feet stomp a little. The remix of Dana Kuehr, called “stripped-down” by Timur, somehow doesn’t put us in the chillout room; we’re still at the main dancefloor, enjoying the night. And, finally, “Any Words Should Suit” sounds like a heavy luxury of minimalistic sound. Heavy on the bass, light on everything else.

We can bet some good money on the amount of time it will stay on the shelves in the record stores. My bet is – NOT FOR LONG. Still, at the pre-order, you can get your copy at Clone, Deejay, or Small Black Dots.
