Lowmoneymusiclove is back in our premieres section with their new sub-series of various artists. For the second installment, they decided to include Rustam, Jordan Lakofski, Glasidium, and MASI – well-known names, and you can tell what we picked already.
Rustam, being a very humble human being, probably won’t tell you this, but he could be easily considered as the best selectors, coming from Ukraine. His versatility in collecting hidden gems all over the world is huge, just as his experience at this, while his attitude is always over the top. And – he’s also a great producer, as you can hear. His “Happy Comby” here is a dreamy, jumpy piece with a lot of pianos and a pinch of acid inside. 5:00-AM-at-the-dancefloor banger.
What else do we have here? “The Heat” from Jordan Lakofski takes us to some retro territory with its 8-bit sounds, blended into modern house. “New Heaven” from Glasidium is a great, groovy, minimalistic roller, and “Synth Pop” is another tool from MASI. It could be played literally anywhere (just as their previous premiere here, you can check).
