Marking the second output on Reda Dare’s self-titled imprint, the two Parisian mainstays join forces for their first release of the year, shaping a sea of bliss in the A1: ‘Good Ol’ Days’.
Anchored by short and snappy percussion, meticulous shifts in drum patterns create a loose and eloquent arrangement. Wistful chords gently unravel overhead, complimenting the loop whilst steadily revealing soothing chord stabs, bedded within the rhythm.
Nostalgic vocal samples soon become a highlight, introducing the first breakdown, soft gospel-like voices reminisce over ‘the good old days’, adding a charming elegance to the track.
