One more label into our collection and for your consideration. Today we’re welcoming a part from the debut release of the new Panta Rhei Records. This is the VA release and the roster of this gathering is very promising, so we’re kinda excited here.
I was very surprised to know, that we didn’t have Prince De Takicardie in our premieres section yet, especially with his great works in the previous years and his appearance in our top 100 collection (by the way, the new one is coming soon). But, it is what it is, at least, we’re welcoming PDT now. One more debut. His track “Ammoniak” is the record opener, and, as we decided, the most interesting one here. The retro gaming grooves are hitting from the very first second, and are getting us that nostalgia (probably, even double – for the times of original sound, and some 2019-2021, when those sounds were VERY popular, let’s put it like that). Still, you won’t feel bored and the percussions will keep you dancing, so, probably, this is an automatic win.
The name of Baptiste is following the opener here. “Space” is a bit rougher one, but just a bit. Another one with that retro gaming touch. Just a touch.
The B-side is looking monstrous with the opener by FIR alumni Idris Bena. His “World” is a delicate banger with some acid and electro infusions. A bit short, but still my second favorite track on the record. Zapp-Ared and his “Pulsion” is a very groovy piece. One of those dark (or better say “grey”) tracks, that could be played literally in every set. From some minimal to some hard hitting techno, shouldn’t spoil any of those. And the last one on the record is Djamel Nait with “Quadrivium”. A quiet opening, that turns into some very squelchy main part. Can’t see anything bad here.
The record will be in the stores very soon, so you can still grab your copy in pre-orders at KMA60, their Bandcamp, Deejay or wherever you’re buying your wax. And we’re waiting for the PRR002, interesting already.
