To say the first compilation from Swiss label Sanguina was a rousing success would probably be an understatement. Support from the likes of Janeret, Herodot and Nu Zau was a serious badge of honor for the five up-and-coming artists involved.
The second compilation has now arrived, yet again supporting rising talent from the underground with Seren:dipia, Pra Jescu and Fictiv all following that infectious dreamy Sanguina rhythm.
With his track in collaboration with And.re on the first release being a particular highlight, Trommel is incredibly pleased to premiere Michel Degen‘s ‘Emotion’.
The Basel-based producer fuses both new and old elements with his A1 track. It’s a fusion of both minimal and the deeper shades of house with the punchy drum pattern that’s fuelled with bass as well as the ethereal bassline. Michel seemingly takes inspiration from more straight-forward strains of early-house with the NYC inspired female vocals which give the music an extra kick of personality.
Sanguina 002 is available via Decks already, with availability coming to Juno and any good record store in the very near future.
