Baby Rollen and Wilba are ready with their new project Heartbreak Hombres under Slump Recordings umbrella.
If you know the sounds of those two already, you should be pleased from the first seconds of “Sneaky Pants”. The perfect balance between the golden era of UK progressive/tech sounds and modern goofy vibes. That’s our main one.
But all the others here are doing basically the same thing. Compiling the best parts from the classics and modern stuff. “All Killa” adds some acid on top of all those. While the final “Heartbreak Hombres” (that’s also the name of the track, yes) feels perfect without it, introducing some little mellow chords instead.
