It’s a bit weird to get messages like “Can you please download this archive ASAP, I don’t know if I’ll be online for the next month”, but that’s the reality when you’re having a label in Ukraine, and both of the founders (I’m talking about Lumitecc and Rozquit) are members of the Army. Despite their main duties, the founders somehow are ready to present the fifth release on their Tancido label, this time – again as the VA.
Starting with Dashiell and his “Speakerphone” – his breaksy banger with the simple slogan “dance to the music on your speakerphone”. Works perfectly and makes the people lipsync the phrase until the track ends, tested.
Three more Ukrainians are joining Australian Dashiell here – Badmango with his swinging and trippy-as-usual “Asser” with all those chopped vocals. Lviv-based Vitya Payalnik with his another nod to the golden electro-house era inside “Okovoyta” (and still must say, it’s one of his lightest productions up to date). And wrapping things up with Nizar Sarakbi and his “Funktion” – unbelievable basslines we’re having here, again with some broken beats.
The record will be out in a few days and who knows, what are the plans for the label from the guys, so you better don’t miss this one. Juno, Deejay, and Redeye are waiting for you already.

This article was written in Ukraine. Ukraine is in the middle of the war with Russia right now. Would be great if you could donate to the biggest Ukrainian volunteer fund here. Also, you can pick any music initiative, that is also trying to help from our list here. We’ll be stronger together.
