Dan Ghenacia returns to Apollonia for his first solo appearance on the label since 2014.

Led by a growling bassline, gloomy chords build over a lucid pulse, pioneered by the Apollonian narrative.

Injecting life in the rolling rhythm, an effervescent piano section springs into the mix before the break. Modest and unhurried, the kick falls effortlessly from the loop, before augmenting a new chord section cushioned beside a moody low end.

A celestial palate of textures rise and fall throughout the mix, swimming beneath a nest of intricacies, casting attention away from the core of the track, encouraging a submissive, hypnotic listen.

‘Mykonos huevos’ reveals Ghenacia’s feel good charm. A playful bassline gitters amongst a soulful vocal, with various looping percussive sections orchestrated from an array of acoustic sounds.

‘Sunny side up’ concludes this sophisticated three tracker. Maintaining the illusive atmosphere, a dreamy synth line sculpts a conversational structure, dancing in unison with a luring hook.
