AV1, a new project of Chris Carrier and Le Loup lands on Metallic States, the sublabel of Lumbago – one of those landings we just can’t miss.
“Lifeforce” is a deep, dark, progressive tune that you just have to listen to in full to react properly. A not-so-slow start, which leads to the whole universe of sounds – a type of banger that almost any DJ could play in almost any location. Versatility is at its finest.
“Aaahh” easily continues the general mood, while adding some more dark and bleep shades to it. “Bells Ceremony” starts slow, but when the actual BELLS are stepping in, it turns into some sort of crime OST with all that suspense – easily my second favorite here. “Droiture” closes the record in a style. A very slow style, which any of those downtempo dancefloors all over the world would easily like.
MS04 is ready for grabbing at any good record store. Consider Deejay as one of those, or go to your favorite one.
